Community
Kali (Boomerang)
program

The Kali (Boomerang) program developed by Danjoo is a comprehensive initiative that embodies the company's commitment for:
- Sustainability
- Community empowerment
- Responsible business practices
The Program operates on two key pillars
What is the Kali Program?
A community initiative designed to bridge the digital divide through purpose driven technology reuse.

The Kali Program is Danjoo's signature community initiative, created to address digital inequality by repurposing retired technology and reinvesting in Indigenous and disadvantaged communities.
Named after the Noongar word for "boomerang", Kali represents return of opportunity, of connection, and of purpose. Through Kali, technology that has reached the end of its business life is given a new role supporting education, employment readiness, and community development.

Community Impact Through Trusted Partnerships
Collaboration ensures technology reaches communities in meaningful ways.
The Kali Program addresses digital inequality while supporting sustainability and social responsibility goals. Outcomes include improved access to learning and employment tools, enhanced digital inclusion for Aboriginal people, and reduced e-waste through responsible reuse.
To deliver this impact, Kali works alongside experienced community partners.

Shooting Star is a key delivery partner, supporting Indigenous engagement and education. Through this partnership, Kali devices are placed within programs that promote learning, participation, and long-term opportunity.
In FY2024, the program redistributed over 200 devices across Western Australia and contributed to community initiatives through Danjoo's reinvestment model.
